Happy enough for another good reason why i love Chinese New Year... becos...
all my friends from all around the world will fly back to Malaysia & Singapore to spend their CNY!!

During this period, i will be cautious to reply all missed calls or answer calls from unknown id... becos... iwon't know if it is a surprise from yet another long lost friend!

Just last weekend, i met up with 2 friends who fall into the above category!

First of all... Lee Wei...
Highlight of our meet is we chatted so so so so much that we sat at the 24 hours cafe for about 8 hours straight!!!! Amazing isn't it? Didn't know we had so much to talk about... Feeling was just so comfy about talking and looking straight into each others' eyes to see the beauty of all events that had chanced upon my dearest friends' lives... So, we just talked till wee hours in the day, in fact till almost day break... OMG!

Our lives had crossed in RSSchool back about 10 years ago...
Thru many obstacles & turbulences... we finally made it together as a great buddy friend...

One crazy thing we had done was to share a mutual diary!!!
But it's such stuffs that bond people together... *haha* imagine asking your boss that you would like to know him/her better such that you suggested to share a common diary! HOw Will ThaT Be???

This pretty friend of mine is now in Aus studying one of the toughest course called Architecture!
She is a very strong girl with great hearts! A gentle girl with te deepest perseverence!

I love this episode of her life whereby they travelled south from Perth to work & travel in this U-lu Weed Factory and Apple Farm plucking apples... i can imagine that scene and yes! i can imagine myself doing just that!!!

All the Best, Wei! You can Do It and Do IT WELL!!

Australia is part of my travel plan in '08... So, visiting her is a wonderful idea...

Up next is the meet up with Yok Khong (Yu Kang) - currently studying Aerospace in Taiwan!

Another friend since my RSSchool times where he was also my travel mate to and fro jb...
Cos he is nice to talk to and he could hold all my 10-year Series and Pure Science Textbooks *Haiks*!!

A very easy-to-talk to guy with dreams and great courage to overcome any obstacles that come along his way step by step...

Always willing to take care of friends and taking that extra step to show his care and concerns... And very 'jiang3 yi4 qi4'....

Shared our piece of life sitting around in Marina Square... Rushing for Babel (which deserves an entry by itself)... and last of all, dashing to Miss Wee's house!!

Told me so much foodies stuffs that one can get in Taiwan & never in Singapore... *drool*
Tole me so much activites that one can do in Taiwan & never in Singapore.... *oohh*

E.g. There are so many mouth-watering nice vege steamboat buffets ard every corner; 'Shi-Ba-La' - where one 'gamble' with hawker owner using Sausages as the stake; and not to miss out description about every inche and aroma of 'Shi-Lin-Ye-Shi' from a local's pt of view....

E.g. There are tons of wet and dry parks aka amusement centres in areas ard Taipei that one can acttually visit one each and can't finish all in one year!!! ; Or how about taking a 30min public transport ride to a mountain and go for a Hot Spring Bath??? -Sounds so blessed-

I wish i was there... and i will this year... becos Taiwan is in my travel plan 07!!! *yippie*

Had tied down with him places to visit already... geez...

Conradizzee drove us back to jb and sent him home... Sat at Mamak stall to chat and laughed till stomach hurts about all the names of Pizza hut, Merc etc when translated into Chinese!!!

All in all, a great times spent!!

Such friends are god-sent....
Such friends are blessing in my life...
Such friends are like sugar in a cup of coffee....
Such friends are like candies in my sour dry dailies...
Such friends are like crystals to treasure....

Thanks and may my blessings follow wherever u set foot on...

Do you have such friends whom u meet only once a year?

How about - are you the one overseas?

Is it time to pay a visit to old friends?

Maybe it is... yah? =)
